In Chicago, the Aldermen/women are probably gang members.
By extension, that implies “Deadfish” Rahmbo also has such ties. (Aside from the nickname I just mentioned.)
I was living in Galesburg, IL, which isn’t exactly Southside, and every now and then on the public access cable channel I would catch the broadcast of the town council meetings. I mostly tuned in to see the batshit crazy stuff the lone black Alderman had to say. The guy represented the “rough” part of town (can’t say the “wrong side of the tracks” as the town had tracks radiating out from it like spokes on a wheel). It truly was a monthly comedy routine.
Well in the paper there was a report of gunfire in that part of town and a house had taken a bullet, and it turned out that the house that was shot at was this Alderman’s (reminder: The guy is black).
Right there in front of God and everyone this Alderman exclaimed in the Town Council session, “NIGGER SHOT MAH HOUSE!”
There were all these gasps and righteous indignation from the rest of the lilly white Council, and he was reprimanded for his language, but still... the fact remained that some... person... shot a gun at this guy’s house and he was pissed.
