Tell your story TO YOUR ATTORNEY. DO NOT SPEAK TO COPS.
Never talk to the cops, but know this:
If they get you to tell your story, and then later they ask you to re-tell it DO NOT COMPLY.
If your first and second story differ by so little as one scintilla they will claim you CHANGED YOUR STORY and that’s that.
Just don’t talk to them in the first place.
Vegas cops have earned their reputation.

Multiple witnesses to the event say the pastor was defending his flock of students.
Why would he take his wife and small kids to a sports bar?
Four Kegs has the best pizza.
Half price during NFL games.
Many fine memories.
Because you can always trust a cop not to lie. “I was afraid for my life.”
“He was resisting arrest. “
Although others have said it, I want to repeat it.
Except for one thing, NEVER talk to a police officer, it almost always gets you into further trouble, and frequently provides the ONLY evidence which can be used to establish guilt even if you are not guilty.
What is the one thing you can say?: “I want to talk to a lawyer.” Not “I think” I want to talk to a lawyer, or “I may” want to talk to a lawyer, or “Should I” talk to a lawyer.
Say: “I WANT to talk to a lawyer.”
There are many many wonderful, good police officers, and thank goodness for them. But there are many bad ones, ones willing to lie or twist, and you do not know which type you will be dealing with.
Plus, in this age police forces are becoming more like occupying forces, hostile to the “civilian” population, and instruments (often unwittingly) of the Leftist agenda.
If you only say “I want a lawyer,” it is much harder for the police to later make stuff up.
