Why not move Naval and Marine facilities inland to Joshua Tree National Park, to alleviate those concerns.
You already own the land and fer sure there won’t be a flood there in the foreseeable future...
Not a bad idea, I used to like the nice dry climate around Joshua Tree National Park and there’s lots of great golf courses nearby.
I hear that Europe and the Far East will have rising oceans also so we should bring home all our troops stationed there and since the Northern and Southern borders of the lower 48 are a low risk to be covered by the rising seas we can build new bases every 100 miles or so on each border where our Military personnel will be safe from the danger and since they are there already they can build us some walls and guard them!
The Obamabots think that by just repeating the “global warming” lies that that makes them true.
Or, they could not be misplaced by rising sea levels that never materialize.
Where do the Obama people find all these lightweights anyway?

The San Joaquin and Sacramento river valleys would make a great Naval base. The floods come in through the San Francisco delta region and fill both valleys to a depth of about 120 feet, protected on all sides by the coastal, transverse and Sierra Nevada ranges.
Gets rid of San Fagcisco and Sacracrookto at the same time.

10-12,000 years ago, the last tribes of mammoth hunters also tried to fight Global Climate Change/Warming by banning the use of cooking fires, and mandating the use of extra furs instead of allowing heating fires at night.
They could see the glaciers in retreat, and the rising river & sea levels threatening their way of life, and the very existence of the herds they depended upon.
They, being ignorant savages, could conceive of no good result from this climate catastrophe, so instituted measures to stave off the disaster.
It didn’t work for them; and it was one of the best things to happen to Mankind.
We still elect ignorant savages to govern us, who learned nothing from the past.
