Rubin calls herself a Republican? Pathetic.
And to me that is the plan.
Cochran probably outspent McDaniel by a wide margin
So shouldn’t we get on the same team J. Rube?
I’m sure that the Rube will do all she can to prove her point and sabotage McDaniel.
Are they going to be talking all this crap about the Tea Party in November when they need us to vote for them? Conservatives have mostly fallen in line and voted for the RINO, but we’ve never been so maligned as we are this cycle. Do they think we’re going to fall in line after this vitriol?
Ditch Mitch in the General.
Just donated $50 to McDaniel.
“The tea party we have seen this primary season is outmatched easily when it takes on mainstream, competent Republicans.”
Au contraire, bimbo. This is the first race of the season when a tea party/conservative challenger hasn’t been massively outspent by his Big Government/Establishment opponent. And look what happened—the tea party candidate, who had not previously run for state wide office, got more votes than the 40+ year incumbent who probably had 99% name recognition.
We are not going away, bimbo; we are just getting warned up.
Bless her heart! :-)
Rubin actually has a husband and a couple of kids, so I don’t know if barren is the right term.
I know that she is purposefully not making an honest case for her opinion. For such an incompetent politician no one has seen fit to even challenge Cochran forever, and he has made many friends. Of course, $3 million was spent on Cochran’s behalf as well, so yes, the Tea Party groups have to match that. She also didn’t mention that some of the votes came from the Democrats Cochran was reaching out to.
She forgot to mention the guy in Kentucky is the Senate Minority Leader, that’s good for on demand free publicity, and LOTS of chits that can be called in on demand from people who can throw votes your way.
Reading Rubin is painful. There are RINOs who make their case well, and with at least the veneer of honesty. Rubin isn’t one of them.
To be said in favor of the GOP-e and RINOs: They aren't actively trying to destroy America. What permanent damage they do is by accident, not intent.
On their own, they're not especially dangerous. But, in the minority, they'll collaborate. While, in the majority, they'll unerringly choose the wrong course.
Altogether, kind of a useless bunch. But not necessarily malign or malevolent -- except in their attitude toward the TEA party...
