Lindsey Graham's primary is next Tuesday!
There's a bit of mopping up to do after the elections yesterday in Mississippi.
Let's force Lindsey into a runoff and then take out both Cochran and Graham on June 24th!
cotton1706, I’m from Northern KY, I’ve commented to several that if Bevin loses to Mitch in the primary, I’ll hold my nose and vote for Grimes in the general. I’d hear the carp about not taking the senate. But when Mitch called the TP racist, they, including my wife & son, will probably vote Grimes. I definitely will.
Mitch forced Sen Bunning to retire because Bunning filibustered how the unemployment bill would be paid for. Then ACA comes around and Mitch allowed ACA to get threw the senate. The Senate is where the minority can procedurally kill any bill. Mitch made the political decision to let ACA the Senate, assuming the Stupak 7 would stop it. Stupak caved & now works for Planned Parenthood and the American people are dealing with ACA. Thanks to Mitch.
Mitch goes down in general, God willing and the river don’t rise.
I like it.
I’ve come to the conclusion that most of the ‘pork’ intended for this state ends up in private hands. Probably those most strongly behind Cochran running for this term when he had already indicated a desire to retire.
It’s strange that there aren’t any recent polls for NC. The following Winthrop poll
was taken in the first week of April. Overall Graham doesn’t fair well in the
polls but there isn’t anyone else showing well either. Strange race.

You mean South Carolina. Nobody else may be doing well, but it is split between four challengers. Add all their numbers together in the Rosetta Poll and they get 30% combined vs. Graham’s 45%. With a bit of McDanielmentum seeping over the border, we could keep Graham from gaining the undecided voters and force him into a runoff.
He loses in a runoff.
You mean South Carolina.

Yep, meant SC. With several challengers and if they can take a few points each
then a runoff is possible. I did find another poll showing Graham with a lead but
don’t know the polling firm’s credentials.

Also the challengers really do not seem to be trying as evidenced by the lack of media ads that directly attack Graham. Maybe they are keeping their powder dry and saving scarce resources for what will hopefully be a runoff.
