So you’re saying that CHL holders may draw and start shooting just from these two walking into the place? Any instance you’ve found of something like that happening? Such far fetched “might” and “could” are the bread of butter of the anit-2A people. Please don’t contribute to that with speculative arguments.

I agree with the article saying that criminals avoid the open carry people, and wait for a better victim. To me, that’s the essence of open carry -— personal protection.

If the rest of society benefits from any crime reduction, or protection fo 2A, great... but it’s primarily about warding off the bad guys in the first place, which you just can’t do with concealed carry.

Laurel and Hardy in the above picture are walking around with their hands on the gun ready to go. What equals a deadly threat to you? Is it when they point the gun at you? Not me. It is when somebody produces a weapon and has the means to use it.

If a concealed carry person shot one of these morons it wouldn't matter what the legal aftermath would be. The Bloomberg people would be celebrating a great political victory.
