Live elections results. Polls close in 20 minutes!
Rankin County just flipped in Cochran’s favor...damn!!!
Republican 94% Reporting
T. Cochran (i)
49.7% 10,562
C. McDaniel
49.3% 10,471
T. Carey
1.1% 227
I still dont see how Cochran avoids runoff..unless fradulent votes appear tomorrow.
I’ve watched a lot of vote counts over the years and in primary election situations and general elections as well ‘the machine’ holds back its ‘best’ precincts or counties till late.
In general elections we have seen the Democrats hold back their urban bases like King County in Washington or St. Louis in Missouri to win close elections.
The ‘machine’ releases those areas late to see if the vote count can be brought up to a winning level. I can’t answer the fraud question accurately, but these rock ribbed insider controlled precincts are places where people are cajoled into voting absentee, taken to the polls to vote, where ‘the machine’ could potentially fill out ballots without anyone complaining about fraud.
US Senate GOP
99% OF PRECINCTS REPORTING
Chris McDaniel............151,842....50%
Thad Cochran (Inc.).....149,714.....49%

Looks like WLOX is using common core math. 101% of the vote so far.

Good news to see this morning!
Does anyone see which Rankin County precincts aren’t reporting yet? It looks like they have all been tallied but politico is showing that 6 percent of Rankin is still outstanding. What gives?
It says 1 precinct left to count, but the only one showing uncounted is the “purged voter precinct” anyone tell me what that is?
Looks like WLOX is using common core math. 101% of the vote so far.
********************************************************************
LOL - it does. While McDaniel has several thousand more votes than Cochran, McDaniel has not reached the 50% (plus one vote) level needed to avoid a runoff.
Lol...what’s the old saying? Figures don’t lie, liars figure?
“First Texas, now Mississippi.”
Espo from the AP, writing for WLOX in Mississippi claims that in Texas, the Establishment held off the TEA party.
I would have never thought that the outcome would be so close that the third candidate could deny either a majority.
OK, here’s a question for all you “take over the GOP, death to third parties” people:
Suppose McDaniel wins outright. Or suppose he wins a runoff.
It’s clear, from Indiana, Delaware, and Utah that the losing candidate and his GOPe people won’t support or vote for our guy.
Wouldn’t it be better to run with a broader appeal?
Reminds me of past elections in heavily democrat areas where the dems won (naturally) with 110% of registered voters voting.
The voter fraud is so rampant these days (and has been for more than one Presidential election cycle) and the GOPe will not do a thing about it.
It appears that Hinds and Rankin will be the determinates as to a runoff or not.
It doesn't show the # of precincts not reporting just a percentage.
Hinds: 96.6% reporting T. Cochran 66.4% 10,327 C. McDaniel 33.1% 5,147 T. Carey 0.6% 86 Rankin: 98% reporting T. Cochran 50.0% 11,900 C. McDaniel 49.0% 11,659 T. Carey 1.0% 249 Jefferson: 87.5% Reporting T. Cochran 55.3% 121 C. McDaniel 43.4% 95 T. Carey 1.4% 3

No!
Do you know how many votes are left in Hinds County? They’re still holding out and it’s very very suspicious.
I don’t know, and it’s afternoon there already, but still nothing.
