I feel sorry for that town. They truly had been led to believe some things that have turned out not to be so. His unit members have all agreed that they were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements, and the file on Bergdahl was classified.

In other words, no one knew the truth. That would include his home town. I feel terribly sorry for them. Our small town in south Ohio had our of ours, a Marine, returned home after being killed in Afghan about 3 years ago now. If he had turned out like this, it would have broken this town’s heart.

Just watched no less than Ollie North hold up a bracelet he’s been wearing for 5 years in order to remember Bergdahl was being held by the enemy.

We were all misled.

I do too, xzins. I’m sure it’s still sinking in that they didn’t know the whole story.....(and we still don’t).
