I consider myself very good at reading expressions, inflections, and body language. I can only half agree. Obama is showing TWO emotions at the same time. First he seems pleased, then almost simultaneously realizing, this won’t play well, and “I wish he hadn’t done that”, (at least not so publically).

I thought it was pleasure mixed with discomfort. Apparently his staff did not vet the father — figured he was just some simple laborer from flyover country — 0 was made to be the stupid one—His plan to be the hero is going down the tube. Partly thru the actions of the father (who had planned to go and try negotiating his sons release) and then thru the military who aren’t nearly behind him as he thought ( VA- response at graduation speech - now speaking out about this). Stick a fork in him. 0 is finished!
