I have seen a lot worse in the commissary. This is BS.
I have to agree......I worked in the Base Exchange at Castle AFB in the late 60s......and I’m an AF Brat......I never heard of such a thing.....plus my mother was an asst manager at the Commissary at the same time......something’s not quite right here!
At Fort Ord in the 1960s in California my mother and I were going to the commissary. I was sixteen. I was told that I was not allowed to enter because I was a ‘child’ and they suggested that I wait in the adjacent ‘nursery.’ So I sat and waited over an hour in a hot car. I didn’t go anywhere near a Comm/PX until I became an Army spouse. Today the PX or BX complex is full of kids and babies.
