I’m a NYer. And, yes, everyone publicly supports homosexual rights. But, come on, haven’t you ever been in a private conversation when the same big lib admitted that he was turned off by fruits? It happens all the time with me. Particularly women seem to distain them...

I have to admit that New Yorkers are a strange lot. They say one thing in private but vote the opposite when the time comes to put their money where their mouth is.

Many complain about taxes being too high, and then vote for Bill de Blasio, who in his campaign, PROMISES TO RAISE TAXES.

Maybe they think that it’s someone else whose taxes are going up, not theirs...

Yes! A very liberal guy in my office (Jewish guy in his early 60s who did Peace Corps service in the late '60s in Afghanistan of all places) was joking to me about a co-worker, a very annoying middle-aged women with two, count 'em, TWO homosexual children. After relating a recent time-zapping encounter with her, he said to me by way of a topper, "and two out of her three kids turned out gay . . . what does that say about her parenting skills?"

If he's not careful, he'll be heading to the Ministry of Love in the near future.
