What do you mean “eventually”? I don’t know if you’re old enough to remember the TV commercials for hand-softening dish-washing detergent with the tag-line “you’re soaking in it”, but we are.
The Judeo-Christian world has been at war with Islam for decades, and as this story demonstrates we are losing badly.
There’s a Taliban proverb - “The West has all the watches but we have all the time”. The Western mindset thinks of a war as something that should be over with in a few years. Islamicists view war as something which can take generations. Pour money from Saudi-Arabia into the American political system and eventually you’ll find a hack like Bill Clinton who will do anything for a buck. Keep at it, and keep funding the dissolution of the Judeo-Christian moral culture and before long you’ll be able to get a blantant Muslim sympathizer like Barack Obama or even Hillary Clinton in the presidency.
Meanwhile pour some of that oil wealth into promoting liberal-socialism in Europe and then flood the continent with Muslim immigrants who within a few decades will be the majority population.
The end result will be a new Caliphate, aided and abetted by weak-minded fools accusing Christian preachers of “hate-crimes”.
as bad as it is presently is, I think this is all just a prelude to something much worse. I think shortly after Iran has nuclear weapons, it will kick off.
Islam has been at war with Christianity and everybody else ever since the 7th century. It never ends. It just ebbs and flows like a tide going in and out. Islam is a violent heresy. If they were Christians they would exterminated.
We have been engaged in limited warfare with elements of Islam but an all out holy war hasn’t been waged for quite a while and not during the age of nuclear weapons. Most westerners would wish to avoid such a conflict. I think Islam will force the world down that path once Iran has the means of producing and proliferating nuclear weapons. I guess I’m talking about Armageddon.
