This show was a CBS anthology series that followed “The Ed Sullivan Show” on Sunday nights in the Fifties.

A few years ago I covered many of the short piano pieces that Rossini wrote in his final days, titled “Sins of My Old Age”. One of these, “A Little Caprice in the Style of Offenbach”, was chosen as the theme.
