Okay, so I read the article and was expecting to see where this guy was rabidly frothing at the mouth about how he finally got to kill him a cop, but none of that is there. All it says is that he was traveling across some states to see some family. After seeing more than a couple of incidents where cops lie to either make someone they have arrested look bad or to excuse beating the hell out of someone, I’m putting the premise of this story into the bullshit category until there is some credible evidence to back up the claims of the police.

I was wondering how they decided this was intentional.

Troopers Probe ‘Moth’ Effect in Crashes
January 8, 2011 by admin
Massachusetts State Police are investigating whether new brighter emergency lights on cruisers are to blame for a recent spike in the number of troopers being struck by other vehicles.
Seven state troopers were hit while standing outside their cruisers last year, including Sgt. Doug Weddleton, who was killed in June by an allegedly drunken driver.
Spokesman David Procopio said that the department is investigating whether the “moth effect” is to blame. That’s the theory that drivers, particularly those who have been drinking, are drawn to brighter lights like moths.
He says the agency is looking into different cruiser marking and different flash patterns to see if that makes a difference. He says the study is several months from completion.

You missed the caption under the perp’s picture where it has “Almond Upton, 60, told police he intentionally hit the trooper”.

If you had the ability to comprehend you’d have noticed the man CONFESSED to police he hit the trooper on purpose. Unsure how you missed that....creep.

From the story:For what reason wouldn't a confession be considered credible evidence by you?

But wait.
Just because we see video of cops lying all the time, you are going to say they might lie to make an accident into a malicious homicide?

The next thing we know you will be demanding that this guy get a jury trial.

You are so not with the program.
