Ok, here's a thread for tonight. I live in MA so I don't know when the polls close.
First of all, let me congratulate you on Babin's win. I think he will do a fine job in DC.
Secondly, before making light of my "tie breakers" when the choice was a toss-up....
I attended the political forum where 11 of the 12 GOP candidates of our district participated. I spent 4 hours taking careful notes, making sure that my wife and I voted for the most conservative candidate. In fact for some reason, I still have my rankings sheet in my office inbox. Here was the ranking I came up with based on answers and what I saw as conservative values:
John Amdur (7)
Brian Babin (4)
Doug Centilli (3)
Jim Engstrand (1) And my first vote in the primary
Phil Fitzgerald (9)
Patricia Kasprzak (11)
John Manlove (Did not show up)
Chuck Meyer (5)
Kim Morrell (6)
Dave Norman (8)
Robin Riley (10)
Ben Streusand (2)Runoff choice
So just how much research and homework did you do? , or did you just blindly support Babin since you have known him 25 years. I thought he was the 4th most conservative out of the group. Just sayin'
Agreed. However, this also a reason why amnesty is a life/death issue for us here in Texas. I read (and unfortunately lost) an article that if Amnesty passes, we lose all advantage almost immediately.
Sickening that our destiny isntrolled by a gutless leaders like McConnell and Boehner.
I went door to door for Goldwater. Been around for a while.
At one point we estimated that 1/4 or so of all DUers were actually Freepers and we used to regale each other with the threads which we had posted over at that collection of half-baked goobers.
It used to be a major sport on this forum. Good times, funy stuff.
This has been a very good night for conservatives. Very pleased.
Do you think Deuell will ask for a recount? they are 300 votes separated.
Probably! But he will still loose!
I have a problem voting for anybody who doesn't live in the district. I tried and couldn't find a home address for Streusand.
What I did find is that his history didn't match his rhetoric.
I have a Liberal friend, moved from Oregon to Woodville and watches MSNBC, who lives next to Babin and can't stand him. Has been campaigning against him...unofficially. This is going to be fun to watch.
BTW, the Navy Seal is married to Jenna Lee, FOX News reporter. Another son was a male model. Several years ago he brought Paris Hilton home to Woodville with him. He was in a video with her. She went shopping at Walmart in Woodville ... had never been in a Walmart before. Nobody recognized her because most other shoppers had never shopped outside a Walmart. LOL!
I can't think of one...Black Republicans have been elected to state-side offices.
An automatic recount when totals are within a certain %-age...I think.
I remember those "good old days."

XXIII Automatic Recount [Ch. 216] for qualifications.
A recount does qualify under
VI. Grounds [Sec. 212.022 212.0241]
You are right. There is a big difference in rhetoric and performance. What I did like about Babin is his almost obsessive hatred of Obamacare. Hopefully he will use his experience in the health care area and torpedo this turd of a law.
Applause on THAT! Troll boys loose last night trying to fill out their Rove tee shirts.
You post like a troll, your posts are evasive and contradictory, slippery, the one consistent is how phony you are.
buffaloguy you are a admitted troll, but we can’t know you while you conceal your posting history behind multiple FR names.
I base much of my outlook on this mess on Hamilton’s quote. Not because he said it, but because what moron can argue against the simple logic of it?
how is having people in your camp actively opposed and actively working to sabotage you/your camp’s beliefs and ideals, remotely the best option? How is it a good option? How is it an acceptable option? How freaking mindless does one have to be to believe it is?
The only thing it leads to is your destruction.
Would an Army General send his men into battle with intel provided by a known double agent? Would a good presifent entrust the Army to a general known to be working for the enemy? Would a civilian boss/business owner entrust his business to someone known to help the competition succeed? Would a Football coach sign a college player that runs around trashing the team, coach and players prior to the draft?
The only people that would do any of that are either complete incompetent morons that should be stripped of the right to vote because of obvious mental issues or people actively in on the deception.
The GOP ‘fans’ here are one or the other. No one that spent any time on FR at all has lacked the information to see the GOP for what it is. No one. Ergo they WANT what the RINOs offer. There is no other logical conclusion one can draw and back it up with evidence.
My bidness, not yours.
There have also been Freepers who have registered under multiple names and then proceeded to argue with themselves on the threads. Call it the Socratic method.
My Gosh, you really are a troll.
How many accounts do you currently have?
