It would seem the inhabitants of Detroit are a violent people.

Well, Detroit’s terrible in the Wold Series, so it’s good to see they’re winning at something....

I would presume the ratio is similar in Chicago, at least among black children.

And with about 70% illegitimacy, that tells me:
70% x 67% = 47% of all pregnancies are illegitimate
If one third end in abortion = 33%
Thus about 20% of all are born to married couples
Hardly a path to rebuilding any semblance of a civilized city

They can achieve lower birth rates without killing their unborn children.
There are many forms of contraception available. They are choosing not to use them.

I’ve read that (nationwide) 70% of all Black pregnancies end in abortion. How many non-Black residents live in Detroit?

What the heck happened to birth control? It’s free at the health dept.
To: Nachum
the statistics make Detroit look more like some Third-World country than someplace in the United States.I wasn't aware third world countries had high abortion rates.

What the heck happened to birth control? Its free at the health dept. That would require foresight and the discipline to actually remember to take a birth control pill every day -- qualities seemingly lacking in Detroit residents.

And of those babies allowed to live, how many have a mother and a father who are married? I suspect that statistic is also staggering.

Sandra Fluke may be disappointed because they evidently believe that birth control other than abortion is not available , but on the bright side Rev Al, Rev Jesse, won’t have the crowds they are used to in a couple of years,

What a brutal, hellish judgment. I always thought the death penalty should be reserved for hardened felons guilty of the cruelest of capital crimes -— not innocent infants.
