I strongly disagree with you — and I am a member of the NRA. I thought this poor man was obviously and understandably distraught and I do not fault him for anything he says within just days of losing his son.
The more I thought about it, the more jarring it is that rather than expressing his personal grief, he issued a political statement.
Most people would be speaking of their feelings, of their son, of their loss, it would be focused on themselves and their child, their family unit, their wife and other kids, it would all be about his little piece of life, but not this guy, he spoke of politics.
