DJ, while no one can walk in another person's shoes, there are people here on Free Republic who have had similar experiences. Those who have empathy for someone in grief reach out with their best intentions to offer prayers and compassion to someone in grief. From personal experience I have been blessed and value greatly the prayers and kind words offered me.
DJ, I have written nothing except from my heart nor do I harbor a wish for anything other than the best for Onyx personally.
Unfortunately words of compassion or sincerely offered prayers posted on the Internet can be viewed as meager expressions or worse and are often subject to timing and the reader for interpretation.

I understand. Grief is difficult to deal with, whether ours or someone elses, as God never meant for us to suffer loss. It hurts the heart of all involved.
