The French didnt help much at all during our revolution. It was mainly the Germans and Poles that actually did the work. You dont think those weasely French were good for anything even back then, do you? Ok, Lafayette, but hes the only good one.
um. ... In fact the French fleet kept Cornwallis from escaping Yorktown. So ya. like it or not the French played a big role in our freedom. That doesn't excuse what going on now but lets give credit where its due.
