I don’t think it has to do with race at all. I just think that it appears that African Americans enjoy living in the Southeast at greater numbers. Otherwise they would have moved up North or West by now.
Or moving back. I met a young African American man in MEMPHIS that had moved from Wisconsin. Liked the weather and JOB opportunities of the south!!!
What did anyone expect to find in the deep south ?
