I know, I’m the first to rail against “junk science”! But........I’ve had severe arthritis pain almost disappear for three years now, since I’ve given up Gluten (although I’m not a Nazi about it). I guess it could be placebo effect but three years is a long time. Whatever it is, I’m a little scared to go back full on to gluten.

The best experiments are the the ones you do yourself on yourself, so if it works for you, even if it’s placebo, don’t worry about what anybody else says.

Although as humans we share many traits we also have may things that are unique to each one of us, so we do react differently to various things.

It’s interesting though that this study was about gastrointestinal problems, but you claim that it has helped you with your arthritis.

My wife has been gluten free for close to a year now;no more swollen joints or joint pain and no more medication. If she eats corn chips or anything with flour or wheat in it, the next morning, she has very painful and swollen joints.....Read ,”Wheat Belly”. The wheat we eat today is not the same as it was 30 to 40 years ago. Today it is genetically modified to be resistant. to drought and even pesticides, to produce more. So what if genetically modified seeds can cause an auto-immune reaction in our body?
