A Washington man is dead after police tasered him four times and beat him with their fists and a flashlight, according to eyewitnesses.
Neighbors report that what happened between 44-year-old Ron Hillstrom and University Place police was essentially murder.
You beat this man to death last night for no reason and we caught you, period, said one of Hillstroms neighbors, who saw the incident.
Police were called to the parking lot of Hillstroms apartment complex in the early morning hours. Hillstrom was having some sort of psychotic episode: He was pacing in a circle and muttering that people were after him. He was unarmed, but carrying a screwdriver.
A representative for the police department said that Hillstroms actions necessitated police force. He fought with officers and tried to bite them, according to Sheriff Ed Troyers statement to komonews.com.
Thats not how the neighbors described it.
No, he did not charge the police, he was just doing what he was doing before the police came, said a different eyewitness.
Not in dispute: The fact that officers tasered Hillstrom four times.

You sell Satanic snake oil of the worst order.
The type that destroys the soul.
I ask you to re-evaluate your relationship with God.
Calling me a "communist" doesn't work, so now you're doubling down by saying I'm Satanic?
How about addressing the forum comments I have made that you disagree with, rather than engaging in ad hominem conduct that is, well... unbecoming of you.
To: Robert Teesdale
You have not made reasoned comments or reasoned observation.
All you write is propaganda.
To: ifinnegan
So you assert.
Then I will offer some explicitly reasoned observations, along with explicit comments in relation.
Observations
- Eastern Kentucky Universitys School of Justice Studies estimates that SWAT teams were deployed about 3,000 times in 1980 but are now used around 50,000 times a year. This represents a ~1,600% increase in military assaults on the citizenry. (The Economist)
- Public loss of trust in law enforcement and the judicial system is shared across the board. "Ninety-two percent of judges said police lie at least some of the time. Thirty-eight percent of judges said they believe police superiors encourage subordinates to lie in court." (Cato Institute)
- In addition to vast expansion of military assaults and systemic perception of dishonesty, law enforcement commits violent crimes only slightly less often than the general public, with a slightly higher rate of assault - and sexual assaults at a rate more than twice as high as the citizenry. (Cato Institute)
- Furthermore this accelerating militarization, used in the furtherance of violent and sexual crimes against the citizenry, is concealed by or silently consented by law enforcement: "The code of silence also remains a troubling issue for American police, with approximately one-quarter of officers surveyed stating that whistle blowing is not worth it, two-thirds reporting that police officers who report misconduct are likely to receive a cold shoulder from fellow officers, and more than one-half reporting that is it not unusual for police officers to turn a blind eye to improper conduct by other officers." (National Institute of Justice)
Comments
- When law enforcement is equipped to same degree as front-line military troops, using the same tactics, equipment, vehicles and doctrines, they serve as a standing army such as the Founders warned about as a threat to the existence of the nation.
- When law enforcement cannot be trusted because both rank and file officers and their heirarchy of command engage in systemic felonies (conspiracy to commit perjury is an example observed above), there will accordingly be no trust from the citizenry and this standing army becomes an occupying one.
- Violent crimes, especially sexual assault and extrajudicial killings under color of authority, are precisely the sort of State conduct that drives violent revolutionary activity. As well as other posters, I have called this out before:
Virtually all human beings have the will and wherewithal for lethal aggression against agents of the State if their conditions are sufficiently oppressive, despairing, hopeless and brutal. Create conditions where there is nothing left to lose and any human has the capacity for exiting the world with a bang of vengeance against the deservingly hated. What most fail to grasp is the banality of the process.
It is not through virtuous indignation and aroused ideology, adherence to political fantasy or even religious duty that people revolt. It comes through desperation. When your child is shot in front of you, your wife bayoneted as she crawls to him, your property burnt and your daughter passed around in front of you... then the human heart forces the hand to action. This is why dictatorships and tyrannies that maintain efficient locomotive schedules and minimal nutritional support for their populations tend to survive. When State agents commit horror and genocide you'll have your revolution. Shooting family pets and destroying 1/6th of the national economy is not going to trigger it.(Teesdale)
There is a proportion of the adult male population of the United States that considers the following outcomes to be sufficient
casus belli for consideration of 4GW response, should it take place again:
Among others, these were dug out from the ruins of Waco
I'm not engaging in demagoguery, Satanism, communist agitation or seditious dialogue. I am simply observing the critical facts on the ground. They can really be boiled down to three:
- American law enforcement is now effectually a standing, hostile army of occupation.
- Murderous, disgusting abuses are commonplace enough to both provoke and unite the aggrieved.
- The aggrieved are a people numerous, and armed.
Draw your own reasoned conclusions. As is said in many places, "no more free Wacos." In my reasoned assessment, that statement bears minding.
To: Robert Teesdale
You are proving my point.
Propaganda and demagoguery is all you are interested in.
To: ifinnegan
Waste of time to further discuss with you.
Enjoy your weekend.

So, he was unarmed? I’m looking for accuracy here. The cops should’ve been able to disarm and secure him without killing him. Supposedly, that’s what they’re trained for.

“Cops didnt just decide to beat a guy to death for no reason.”
Sorry, but there is NEVER a reason to beat someone to death. NEVER. Cops do not hand out punishment.
This was murder in the first degree!
