Has anyone here ever been to a “94th Aero Squadron” restaurant? Usually they’re located on or near regional airports. They usually have WWII warbirds on poles outside; Mustangs, Spits, Jugs, and Warhawks, mostly.
You initially think that the airplanes are neat (unless you’re a warbird junkie, where your reaction will vary between “Those things should be flying!” and “Those things should be in a museum!”), until you get up close and realize they’re just 1:1 scale Fiberglas models cast from moulds of real aircraft.
