is this a solution in search of a problem? Do we really have a serious problem with illegal alien doctors not being able to become licensed American doctors? I find this hard to believe.
I have no idea how many illegal aliens are physicians in other countries. I do know however that the reason why many physicians here legally from other countries have trouble getting state medical licenses is because they cannot pass the rigorous US licensing exams. I also know that we have a shortage of primary care doctors that is only getting worse…so what you will have is Americans forced onto Obamacare exchanges who will have to see “doctors” from other countries who don’t speak their language and who aren’t competent to take out a splinter.
