These are more efficient and reliable but I think it won’t take long to replace with American technology.
As for GPS it is huge. It would reduce an accuracy of the system beyond required for military use.

The new, upgraded GLONASS system is now fully operational. Russia doesn’t need to rely on the U.S.-controlled GPS system any longer.

This is one of the things Putin has been spending big money to upgrade. And the Russian GPS-Spoofing tech is supposed to be a lot more advanced now than just a few years ago, thanks to Chinese tech help.

Your Smartphone likely has the capability to use GLONASS.
