If inland water that has been frozen migrates to the ocean or to ice that is floating on the ocean, then it could lift the ocean. Ice shelves are already floating, however.
Just about an hour ago I added four ice cubes to my glass of bourbon. They melted and my glass didn't over flow.
Imagine that!
