NEW YORK -- It took nearly the entire draft, but Michael Sam and the NFL finally made history.

The St. Louis Rams used the 249th pick in the seventh round to select Sam, who has officially become the league's first openly gay player.

Being picked by St. Louis means Sam will stay in the state where he played college football as a standout at the University of Missouri.

It’s become all but impossible to find a single segment of American culture that doesn’t have these depraved perverts jumping in and shoving their damned feces in everyone’s face.

This is so bad, that I would not be surprised to see people buy Rams gear for the sole purpose of burning it.

“Sam didn’t want his sexuality to be a distraction.”

Sexuality? He’s a damn dung puncher (or punchee). That is not sexual...that is purversion. He’s a pervert.

from 2002 interview on Howard Stern show.
Jeremy Shockey has suffered a number of injuries and is not playing pro ball

There are presently no openly gay players in the NFL. New York Giants rookie tight end Jeremy Shockey hopes it stays that way.

In a Sept. 10 interview on The Howard Stern radio show, Shockey was asked on-air by producer Gary Del ‘Abate if he thought there were any gay players in the NFL.

“I don’t know, I don’t like to think about that. I hope not,” Shockey said.

When asked if he ever dealt with any gay teammates on his college football team, Shockey gave a somewhat confusing answer:

“No, I mean, if I knew there was a gay guy on my college football team, I probably wouldn’t, you know, stand for it.”

Stern’s sidekick Robin Quivers replied: “ How could you not stand for it? What do you mean?”

Shockey said, “You know, I think, you know, they’re going to be in the shower with us and stuff, so I don’t think that’s gonna work. That’s not gonna work, you know?”

I say the NFL already commemorates faggots, the ball is brown, is it not?

I will be able to hear the howling over here in Tennessee when they remove him from the roster. (Cut him leaves a bad mental image.)

I bet 30% of the NFL are “on the down low”.

No, that’s not how professional sports works.

Are they going to cut Robert Quinn, who led the NFC in Sacks with 19 for a no-name that doesn’t have the talent to make the team?

Or even any of the DE’s in the rotation?

Cutting players comes with a cost as it counts against the salary cap as well.

Simply put, there is no room for dead weight in the NFL or in pro sports.

This isn’t Little League where everyone gets to play.

Doesn’t matter if you are the owner’s son — if you don’t have the skills to make the team, you don’t make the team.

God help them.

Or, actually, God laugh at 'em.

What’s going to happen when Sam gets cut and doesn’t make the team?

If a Rams player goes home to shower is it a hate crime?

the players will be forced to do this and be tow the party line like good serfs.

Or maybe they'll be like the players in "Slapshot"......"I'm telling you, ya better be prepared, because when I yank it out, everybody in that audience with the exception of my wife is gonna be runnin' for the exits!"

The NFL touts its increased in female viewership (something close to 45% or so) and even sports a line of clothing specifically for women. Within the last month, I read of TV advertising and how women-controlled ad agencies are on the rise and their feelings come through (which is why we often see men and more so white men play the role of the clown). Liberal women love LGBT causes. If they gain more power, seeing men turn homosexual is empowering to them. Put all that together and yes, I think we will see homosexual day in the NFL or certainly in advertising campaigns.

Thank you. I figure why use a fly swatter, when you can use a sledge hammer?

then men, normal straight men, will do to the NFL what they have done to the networks. They will simply leave.

remember the networks are struggling with 25-55 male block. The NFL is going the way of bicycle circular track races.
