At this point I don’t care.
By the time they come for me the phone will be gone.
I don’t like anyone watching me. I don’t think they should watch or track anyone. But it’s not gonna stop and I have a million other things to deal with.
What people don’t realize is that most often the stuff that makes the Internet “shiny” is also what makes it dangers. Flash, Java, AddOns, Extensions... they are all materially useless except to make display more attractive. The overwhelming majority of people would not want to give this up, but doing so, while making the web nothing but a large block of text on each page, would make your identity at least marginally safer than it is now.
The communications of future rebellions will be disseminated through dumb terminals and encrypted text or, worst case, Morse code.
