I’ve never watched his TV show.

I listened to his radio show, essentially every day, from about 2006 until about a year ago.

He used to quote Thomas Jefferson: “Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear.”

But then, when the time came to question the existence of the 0bama birth certificate, he said “I had Stu look into it; he said it was nothing. It’s settled”.

In the last few months, I’ve listened to about half his radio shows via the podcast.

When the issue of Clive Bundy’s alleged racism came up, he listened to the much-edited NY Times version of Bundy’s statement, designed to show Bundy to be a racist. “Yep, Bundy’s a racist”.

When the Donald Sterling story hit a couple of weekends ago, I made a point of listening that Monday. Glenn was out, it was a Pat and Stu circus. RacisRacisRacis!!!!! over and over.

Then, next day Glenn came back, and it was RacisRacisRacis!!!!! all over again.

Like there’s nothing better to talk about.

There was a time he was very good.

Now, he just blathers on about about Gandhi and non-violence, while protected by armed guards.

By the way, if the Imperial Japanese Army had ever made it to India, Gandhi’s bayoneted, headless corpse would have last been seen floating down the Ganges river.

I wonder what Beck’s wives think of him being a drug-addled, baby-killing, queer-loving Libertarian?
