It would make a lot of sense to unbundle cable packages and let you buy a la cart.
BUT “Big Cable” has huge clout in government at all levels, federal, state, and municipal.
I don’t see it happening any time soon.

Good. Let the cable teevee business model die the slow, painful death it deserves. And I hope the mouth breathing sports fans take it in the shorts. I got sick and tired of the constant increases I used to oay for a dozen sports channels I never once watched.
Add that to the horrible programming on EVERY cable channel. All fake reality teevee and tired rehashes on the "history" channels reminding us all ONE MORE TIME that the US won WW2.

But then the homo networks, and all the homo shows on cable networks who don’t draw enough viewers to support themselves would die off with out the welfare.
