Thanks for the link, and the information:

1. I said last year that Cochran wanted to retire....he had almost nothing in his campaign account..but decided to run only because McConnell asked him to...Mitch is worried about getting enough votes for majority leader, and you;ll remember that when McDaniel announced..he said that he wouldn't vote for McConnell for leader...IF the GOP picks up enough seats...and a lot will be TP types..if someone like Mike Lee decides to run..it will be close.

2. Sad about Cochran's wife, and I do not begrudge him having a relationship..( do you know if t he lady is married?) but again...if she's on the payroll.,.that's a BIG no-no

I don’t know anything about Ms. webber other than she has worked for Senator Cochran for some time and that she attends social functions with him. She looks like a very nice lady though.

Senator Cochran has a cabin in Oxford. I wonder if he lets friends/family use it for football weekends in the fall. :-)

It is very sad I am sure to have a loved one with dementia. And Mrs. Cochran seems to have developed it at a much younger age than I think of when I think of folks with dementia. Reminds me of Mal Moore at Bama. His wife suffered similarly.
