None of us are without sin. The question is whether we will wallow in sin and celebrate the rejection of God's word or resist when we have the strength and repent when we fail. When a bishop is the one publicly wallowing in physical pleasure over God's word, and those actions are praised, that worries me.

This isn’t the point. The point of homosexual unions, in general and specific, is the attempt at redefining what is sin. It’s not a sin if you love each other is the trope that the homo/pedi crowd has devised, and everyone has bought into.
