From what i heard it sounded like she set him up on that tape.
That is the way I heard it too, it was like she was asking him to rebuke her for hanging around black people and inviting them to games. It seemed that she was bringing up stuff they had talked about before.
I only heard a little snippet once, but he may well have been totally set up.
