As hidden and buried as this frauds life events are it doesn't surprise me that there have been many distractions and some wild goose chases preventing the discovery of multiple mother lodes. I don't doubt such diversions have caused delays. I'd prefer they get it all and do it right when it comes to disclosure and subsequent charges. Optimistic yes but it may be our only chance for survival.

Actual investigations take time, following leads, questioning witnesses, finding documents, establishing chain of custody and no doubt a lot more than that.
