Would love your thoughts on this, fellow sports guy. I'm seeing a private conversation, illegally recorded, and extreme punishment without apparent due process. Surely there are conduct clauses inserted in every franchise agreement but this just defies the imagination. I don't condone what he said, of course, but I wonder where the NBA will stand when the inevitable lawsuit is filed.
Flagg I am thinking exactly like you are ..obviously the NBA thinks that their conduct language for owners and the auspices of the commish’ office gives them the latitude to do this - but remember, Sterling is a personal injury trial lawyer .he’s a litigious bastard by definition. This is going to get interesting.
