The announcement that Peanuts was to be honored at the dems convention can be traced back to about the same time the video was made.
IIRC, that was some time in mid to late July.
There is no doubt in my mind the idea was to create another “October Surprise” and blame Mitt Romney and the repubs with collaborating with the terrorist to make Obama look like Peanuts Carter.
As an added bonus the Obama adm could arm up al Qaida with a massive amount of weapons and blame it all on the repubs for planning the attack.
