The talking points I’ve heard for this are that Pubbies run on being ethical and family oriented and Christian, the Dems, not so much, so they’re holding the Pubs to account for their actions. Plus, the Pubs tell their guys to leave and the Dim congresscritters ignore transgressions or say the Pubs are picking on them because they’re racist.
