Don’t know about Republican events but the last Tea Party rally I went to had several blacks and Latinos.
Tell ya what Rand. When Alan Keyes is the keynote speaker at the 2016 GOP Convention get back with us Conservatives on just how the party should be all inclusive OK? How about it Rand? Is Alan Keyes too conservative and extreme on issues for you? He is too radical for most of the GOP-E which seems to be whom you are pandering too.

Hell, back in the 50’s when you attended any event it was all White People and a smattering of Blacks then, either North, South, West or East.

Senator, why don’t you just admit you’re a big time Libertarian and you only joined the GOP, as your father did, to get a more visible platform. You’re not fooling anyone sir. The big tent approach you advocate is the typical message from our good friends the RINOS. A few days ago I could stomach voting for this guy for president but now I know what a huge mistake that would be. He’s showing his true Libertarian stripes.
If Rand Paul doesn’t like white people at GOP gatherings, maybe he shouldn’t go. When he shows up it increases the percentage of white people. And based on his own pallid skin color, he probably counts as two white people.
Rand Paul is playing the race card.

Paul's play is designed to wrap up the Millenial vote. The recent barrage of annoying position statements from him -- GOP is too white, abortion isn't important, gay marriage isn't a big deal, voter fraud isn't a factor, illegal immigrants are a benefit, etc. -- are all designed to appeal to the "youth vote".
And they won't run away his father's supporters.
Given that bloc of voters -- which superficially promises to expand the GOP voting base -- he can perhaps parlay his faction into a VP nomination.
If Matt Bevin does not win in May, my family and I will be vacating some space at GOP events for whomever Rand wants to invite and is dumb enough to accept.
The Democrats have been buying minority votes for decades, and they are reaping the rewards of it. What does Rand want to do to turn that around?
Amnesty isn’t going to do it. The Republican Party can’t out buy the Democrats, and we can’t out Democrat the Democrats.
I know. The Republican Party needs to stop being ashamed of conservatism, and start communicating it to minorities who say they are conservative.
Come one, come all.
And why are we bringing in 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants a year, 87% of whom are minorities as classified by the USG? We are importing hundreds of thousands of future Dem voters every year.
OMG! This will never do. How could this have happened? We must never allow white people to do anything but die.
The real facts are: free enterprise and standing on one's two feet with as little gov. involvement as possible does not appeal to 90+% pct. of black citizens. Conservatives can scream and jump up and down trying to convince blacks that conservatism is good for them to no avail. Unless it becomes a party of pandering and handouts like the Dems, no blacks will join.
Reach out, yes, but not by changing our principles. The presentation, perhaps. If we can present our ideas more effectively, then let’s learn how to do that.
