Death panels.
I believe so. 'Had a friend in SC - with health insurance - who opted instead -voluntarily - for the VA. He had extreme hypertension and was overweight, and I believe that with more individualized care, he might have been afforded more of the panoply of drug therapies of the private market, along with the ability to narrow down which one suits the individual best. These could well have given him another five-six years at least.
Having been to VA facilities in Dallas and Los Angeles, while my care there was very good, but also very specific, I can see how the VA has gotten steadily worse over the years by the range and intensity of reports to this effect. And as these hospitals are run by the government, I can't help but wonder if we may be seeing the future of medical care altogether under this communistic and aptly named obabmacare.
