“What I don’t understand is why they’re pushing us to the breaking point. What kind of deep dark reason do they have to keep taunting and stomping on us in such an unconstitutional manner? Do they want us to snap?

They are simply doing what the founding fathers knew men would do ie; try to steal our freedom.

They want to oppress slowly counting upon a certain amount of acclimation along the way until they have us so boxed in that we can't move.

The anger has been building for a hundred years but the catalyst for the recent confrontation was (I believe) obozo dismissing the rest of us and SPEAKING LAW INTO BEING. They WOULD have us boxed in at this point where it not for the 2nd amendment...

Tome it's quite easy to figure out: they have hold us in utter contempt and think they can get away with it.

Why not? The propaganda ministry at the major media works hand in glove, Holder's Department of Just Us is actively involved in persecuting its political opponents and the regime is actively assisting every foreign enemy of the United States as much as it can.

Some of the state governments are finally beginning to wake up and make threatening noises but I'm not sure that's more than politically motivated barking.

The feds, whoever they are, want a confrontation. That way they can described every freedom lover, and there aren’t very many of us, as extreme thus making everyone else fall in line. The true solution is to go Galt. And that ain’t easy to do.

You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again.

You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat; you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.

Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

Lexington / Concord comes to mind. Instead of the northeast, it will be out west or the south where the government is using the heavy hand of oppression.

They are pushing to the breaking point because so far every time they push they gain more ground. I actually do not believe they think we will do much. After all, we have accepted their totalitarian ways with barely a whimper so far.

Little bits every day, so many of them it is hard to keep up with. That is how they operate. Much of it behind our backs. Then we find out what they have done after the fact.
