He didn’t say anything that wasn’t true—as far as “morality”-he condemned abortion, crime resulting in wasting one’s life in jail, destroyed families etc.

The people who hated him before in a knee jerk fashion wouldn’t have changed their minds about him no matter what. Where’s the loss? There are a lot of folks who do agree with the basic theme of his statement. Even if you don’t, most adults should be able to separate his views on that subject, agree or disagree, from the BLM issue.

Norm, you speak the truth—but I can’t help but wonder if there wasn’t a black bodyguard speaking up, would you be on Bundy’s side? Sounds like a good guy (the bodyguard) but why do we have to have that? I for one don’t have to desperately seek validation from a black person to form an opinion—that’s part of the problem these days.

Yup. I have a black son in law and two black grandkids. I am quite familiar with the race thing. I don’t see color. I see people and their actions. And I see Bundy speak the same thing we say every time we say ‘Liberal plantation”.

I could not care less if people can’t get past their own hang ups on race. Truth is what it is. And I care not at all if anyone wants to call me a racist for it. I have been called much worse by much better people than they.

Didn’t care about that either. ;)
