Can you point out what was wrong or racist in what he said? Or is it now the policy that nobody can say anything about the master race?
So first your defense is there is no evidence he said it. Then when that is proven wrong, you dispute that the statements, at minimum, come across as racist?
Are you living in alternate universe where it’s still okay to say things like, “The Negro” is worse off today because they didn’t learn to “pick cotton”? Or suggesting “the Negro” was maybe better off as a slave? Seriously man?
I mean, I understand that this old guy may just have antiquated views on race, but that doesn’t mean those sorts of statements are going to be acceptable to virtually anyone. In saying these things, Bundy pretty much just alienated almost every significant political ally he had.
