After Bundy's overtly racist remarks, let's see how far politicians run away from him.
The New York Times has overheard Cliven Bundythe Nevada rancher who, instead of paying decades of overdue grazing fees, met the Bureau of Land management with guns and a small militiasaying this:
"I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro," he said. Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, "and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch they didn't have nothing to do. They didn't have nothing for their kids to do. They didn't have nothing for their young girls to do.
"And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?" he asked. "They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I've often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn't get no more freedom. They got less freedom."
Expect every politician to back away from the issue.
"His remarks on race are offensive and I wholeheartedly disagree with him," Sen. Rand Paul said in a statement Thursday morning.

Well if they made up the quotes out of whole cloth, I expect a lawsuit will be filed by Mr. Bundy’s attorney shortly.
Yes if you start a lillte bit earlier in the video (around 16:40 or so) it changes the context considerably. He’s basically saying he doesn’t want to see the Mexicans and the “Coloreds” go bak to where they were before. He’s actually saying its becauseoif the government that they’ve ended up where they are today insteading of being self-supportive. Just the MSM trying to generate more revenue. Of course they won’t get called on it. They are never seen for the presstitutes they really are because they have indirect support from the WH...
None of this has any bearing on what we all witnessed last week where an out of control, militarized federal government brought their storm troopers to protect a freaking turtle and steal an old mans cows.
But keep shaking that shiny object, New York Times. It just proves you have lost the argument.
Well type out the exact quotes and post it to FB
i) Is it true he said this? I could easily come and claim that I overheard you say XYZ, when it is not the case. I personally hold the need for evidence at a very high level, no matter who/what/where ...tell me Obama is a sot and I will still ask for evidence, although in his case it wouldn't be hard to get. So, did he actually say this?
ii) Let's assume he said it. Ok, he did. Let us even make it worse and claim he advocated for the killing and eating of newborns! Fact is, the case he has against the Fed is still valid. One thing I have noted is that many people lump issues together, which the media is trying to do here. An example: you find a great mechanic who is able to fix your car and do it with great efficacy at a throw-away price, but then you discover that in his free time, when he is at his home, he likes to spend his time going through Playboy magazines. So what! You are not after his services to find out what his reading, and other, habits are ...you are there to get your darn jalopy fixed! By the way this is something I have also seen with Conservatives, especially in the last election. You have a Conservative politician in the running, someTHING is revealed about him and her, everyone abandons him, and then move on to the next Conservative in the running. They also find someTHING 'wrong' with him, dump him, and move on to the next. When the story is over virtually ALL the Conservatives running had been in the lead, all had fallen off, and the person left was Mitt Romney, who everyone will admit is not a Conservative.
iii) As for the actual statement - assuming it is true - the man had every right to say it. Additionally, he makes good points (and I say this as a black man). However, in everything there is wisdom required. I have every right to say anything I want, but I also need the wisdom to see whether saying so would disadvantage me in an area I consider more important. For instance, at a job interview I may decide to say that I consider the office decor a throwback to the 70s, and that the interviewer definitely needs a breathmint (or ten) ...and it may be true. Is it necessary? Nope. Is it wise? Well, considering what my greater purpose is for me to be there, no it is not.
Glenn Beck: Cliven Bundy unhinged

LOL!!
The Government vs. the plantation owners. Merely two types of slavery. Both are wrong, but which has the greatest destructive impact? Make a list of the evil effects of each, compare them, and you may come up with an answer so NOT PC most people would run from it.
The New York Times heard. A newspaper heard. An insentient, unconsciousness business heard.
Nancy Pelosi's republican friend told her that Republicans hate black. Who said that Ms. Pelosi? I am not going to name names.
Dry gulches. Sandbagged. Ambushed.
I heard Mr. Bundy beat his children when they were young .wife too. Defend that Mr.Bundy.
The liberal have no sense of decency.
I can’t type very fast with only one hand that works.
I didn’t listen to the whole thing, just before the smear exerpt and after it to get the context.
No, it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t have justice. It means that the focus will be on something other than that justice - and that he will lose support which he needs.
This is unadulterated bull shit, which is something Mr. Bundy is acquainted with.
The “Ugh” was how it feels to know that know everyone who wants to destroy him will use this to whittle away his support. And because IF TRUE that he said this, it was rather a clumsy way to share a valid observation about a segment of the black population.
NY Times..... fit to wrap dead fish and garbage in... They “overheard” his remarks... with what a drone?? Besides he is still entitled to free speech. Is he off the mark in what he said? Or can you no longer state facts or express an opinion in this wonderful country run like a fascist regime.. supported by the NYT = Pravda.... No that is not racist...
Sounds like the NYT is running with a second hand rumor....name the source or don’t print it....
That’s what legitimate news organizations do....
Bookmarked for later reference.
LOL. Well a good fisticuffs in Congress would be a good thing. I have a CCW. Keep up the good work!
Bundy is right that today’s democrats are far more destructive to black Americans than even their predecessors of 1810-1865. He should, however, keep quiet when the leftist media is looking for an excuse why it’s okay to deprive him of his rights and property and send 200 armed men to collect delinquent fees. “He’s a racist, we should send in a drone strike” is a stupid phrase, but it will not help his case.
What is disappointing is the Pavlovian reaction of people like Rand Paul and some FReepers who want to join in with the Left in destroying him.
It’s around 17:50
