That's exactly what I've been talking about - the very theme of Galatians: saved by grace, not works. As far as I'm concerned "faked" faith is when faith is turned into into a work. Faith is not a work, it is a gift of God as previously cited. The focus of the gospel is the abundance of God's grace (Rom 5:17), not worrying about how much faith you have. Your thrust seems to go in the direction that you must somehow do something to "earn" or qualify for salvation. The only qualification for you to be saved is that you are a sinner. That's all you bring to Jesus to get saved. Your sorry self. No other way.
Since you acknowledge that there is such a thing as faked faith, then you understand that there will be those among us who are not part of us.
They are tares among wheat.
Those who refuse to stop living a life of homosexuality are among fake Christians.
Paul expressly says so.
1 Co 6:9Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God
