It was Andropov that approached Reagan, and said “this has got to stop”. But, he was already too ill to do much about it.

The last 6 months, he was sending in letters to the Politburo, because he was too sick to attend.

The silliness is in referring to them as reformers, since the perestroika was planned prior to the both of them, with the full intention of restoring the USSR at a more opportune time.

This assumes that what the communists told us about the Perestroika on a public level is true, and that what defectors told us was really going on 8n the background was not.

It was Reagan who defeated the evil empire, not the empire beseeching Reagan to defeat them.

If the U.S. communists are shilling for Putin, doesn’t that mean that the Democrat party supports Putin?

Don't they? Something that the pro-Russia freepers are leaving out, is that they have the right president for their goals.

“I don’t think that an idea of the whole nation as a ‘slaves’ and ‘mass murderers’ ever worth discussion.”

You equate the German NAZIs, who actually kept slaves and committed mass murders, to the Ukrainians in Kiev in the following quote of one of your earlier posts, so you did think “that an idea of the whole nation as a ‘slaves’ and ‘mass murderers’ ever worth discussion” when you made that remark:

It is officially a bad day for a Kiev Nazis when their European allies are showing up in Moscow to stub their back.

“What ‘anti-American criticism’ are you talking about? I haven’t even thought a thing anti-American, it seems like another ones are spreading hate her.”

It was yourself who wrote, “wonder where the anti-Americanism comes from,” and left it ambiguous as to whether or not you were including yourself in the “anti-Americanism” about which you spoke.

In addition to your remark about the “anti-Americanism, in another post you made the remark which can reasonably be construed as being an anti-American criticism, “None of Georgian provinces are incorporated into Russia, and Crimea was Russian for centuries. Anyway, I’m not supporting Crimean takeover but I don’t see it as a big deal and of any American interest.”

The territories of Georgia are in fact invaded and occupied by Russian military forces, and they are in effect Georgian territories occupied and administered by Russian military forces using proxies to covertly mask the Russian control without overt annexation by Russia.

Your comment, “Crimea was Russian for centuries,” is a false statement and may reasonably be viewed as an attempt to disseminate disinformation in support of the Russian invasion of the Ukrainian territory in illegal breach of numerous international treaties and agreements. “Crimea was” NOT “Russian for centuries.” the Crimea was possessed by Russia for only 171 years, from 1783 to 1954, which is NOT two or more centuries. During the period in which Russia possessed the Crimea, Russians represented a minority of the population in the Crimea in all but a few decades, and then only after the Russians had removed most of the non-Russian population by mass murder and mass deportations resulting in mass murders. You then go on to say, “I don’t see it,” the latest Russian invasion and conquest of the Crimea, “as a big deal and of any American interest.” It beggars the imagination how the invasion, occupation, and annexaton of the territories of any member of the United Nations could possibly be construed as not being “a big deal and of any American interest” or not being “a big deal and of any” interest of any member of the United Nations who could one day also be subjected to such unlawful aggression and conquest. Consequently, your comment bears all of the indications of anti-American war propaganda designed to divide America, Americans, and would be American allies.

Although you have posted remarks that have made favourable remarks about the United States of America, your other comments are clearly antagonistic towards American values and actions that can interfere with Russian acts of aggression and irredentism. Thusly, your comments have created an ambiguous situation where your comments cannot be distinguished from those of a pro-Russian apologist for Putin's Russian aggressions and Russian anti-Americanism who is being disingenuous. Whatever your actual intentions may be, your actual remarks as observed above give strong reasons for doubt and suspicion.

Pure scholasticism on your side. You simply hate some people, most of whom you don’t even know and all of these intellectual porn is just a set of words to back your agenda.

Homosexuality was banned by the Soviets, is banned in the People’s republic of China, Cuba, Venezuela, Belarus, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Vietnam, and other ‘socialist paradises’. And it is banned in all Islamic countries.
