This thread is a study in how many on the Right shoot themselves in the foot and surrender advantage to the Left, beginning with the failure to identify the ONE COLOSSAL POLITICAL ISSUE of the day, far more important than any other political issue: the size and threat of the $6 TRILLION government. All these pet peeves and pet issues are chump change compared to the need to cut the size of the federal government and put it back in its constitutional cage.

Today's message coming from the Right should be THE FREE MARKET ECONOMY. As in the 2012 campaign, the Left and the MSM will gladly help the Right focus and bicker about peripheral issues as long as the Right stays away from the IMMENSE government issue.

So maybe our political redemption may come from another direction - the limited Article V agenda of the Convention of States proposed by the Citizens for Self-Governance.
