With the cowards we have on the GOP? Good Idea but it would require willpower to fight back they have not had in 20 years.
They're saving all their willpower for Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
And they will not have to worry about their political future due to all the new Dims either.
We'll vote them out THIS YEAR!
All the articles I read about the demographics and political leanings of "immigrants" being a death knell to some future GOP make me laugh.
Whenever the GOP votes this in, they will be instantly, politically, dead. They'd be lucky to get 30% of their incumbents reelected in the first election following the act.
