Washington state has blown past its targets for signing up new Medicaid participants under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
The programs ranks have grown roughly 25 percent in the past six months, helping fulfill one of the acts key goals to provide health care to nearly all Americans.
By the end of March, more than 285,000 adults who are newly eligible to participate in Medicaid had signed up for coverage. Thats twice the number officials had hoped to reach by then, and a target they hadnt expected to hit for three more years.

Again with the BIG LIE. Zero-don’t-care has NOTHING to do with healthcare. It is a forced insurance program that represents the next logical stepping stone on the pathway to single payer, which is what the left has been touting for years.
The various components of this piece of legislative tripe all are designed to fail at scale (overburdened, unable to accommodate subscriber needs) and will lead to a hue and cry from the socialists that the gubmint is the only entity with the clout to address the problem.
Zero-don’t-care is a critical component of the liberal plan to destroy America.
It must be repealed. No replacement necessary.
Spot ON!
THANK YOU!
Everything they say is a lie.
States that participate in this disaster will be bankrupt in five years, then expect the prudent states to bail them out via the money-laudering federal government.
Of course, the feds will take a generous cut for their services and will fine any entity that objects.
Medicaid instruction packet: You now have no deductible. Just call 911 and an ambulance will whisk you to the ER. You’ll be seen sooner this way, even for minor ailments. Oh, and vote Democrat.
They don't do that anymore around here. The paramedics make the call, trip justified or not, sometimes with ER consultation, and if it is not worthy, no transport.
Yeah, I believe you. Out here, we have a family of four living on less than that and really not needing for anything.
That goes on until 2020 when it goes to 90%.
The state is still getting a great deal at 90%. The fedgov can always print money and/or borrow which the state can't do.
