Yeah, Bono’s plugs are not too bad. There are some really bad ones in Hollywood too, but a few that you don’t notice until you watch a movie they did fifteen years ago and see they were balder than they are today :)
You can say they mean whatever you want, although I don't think you made a very good attempt there. The point is, people avoid it because it's not as easy to manipulate away from its original reference: that the Jews were God's Chosen People, whom he nurtured like a tender plant, but whose kingdom fell apart and was without form, and not terribly appealing. It doesn't require manipulation if you just read Isaiah in whole and accept that it's about what it says it's about. But I forget, modern-day Christians believe they understand Jewish writings much better than Jews do.

You are absolutely correct in that distraction....however does lady sincerely want the answers? I’m not convinced. They remain in denial of the answers already clearly explained. Moreso have returned to “replays” which is simply circular.
That's not correct....crowds followed him as is recorded....however He did choose a handful..the twelve...to carry his message of salvation in the beginning, and it is those who were equipped at Pentecost by His Spirit to perform the evidences of what they were saying was true.
Crowds will always gather to watch a spectacle.

That was explained to you...Jesus changed how they should be thinking concerning him and the law as he taught them the truth for three years...He opened their minds to what the OT law and Prophets really stated and meant....not as the Pharisees and Sadducee's insisted it said. Which is why throngs of people followed Him...they 'identified with the truth Jesus spoke, even when they may not have fully understood it. Truth will always appeal to the heart and soul of men....'IF' they are seeking it.

You want to know the ‘requirements’ of the Messiah from a Jewish perspective and how would they identify Him.

I don’t think Lady wants to really know the truth of Messiah...there were so many varied definitions of who Messiah should be at that time, which is why there were so many false Messiahs....that the crowds who gathered before each one of them would have been certain that one was the Messiah.
Even today the Jewish people have varied desciptions of what conditions He must meet...but they apparently will not accept any other than a Warrior King, who rescues them, seems pretty clear......how and when that will happen is all over the map of those who teach about their Messiah.
It’s overlooked too often of the “blindness” God has placed over the Jewish peoples inability to discern Christ Jesus as their Messiah.....so that we as Gentiles might know Him. However there will indeed come a day where they will see their Coming King in all his glory....and it will be a rescue as they have hoped for....unfortunately they will endure suffering as they have not known prior before that day.
