BTTT!
Yes, it sounds A LOT like that nonsense.
I was working Alaskan North Slope projects when I posted the following on that topic.
I don’t see anyone including me reporting this as an SPR operation. What is reported is that federal officials have taken over production wells ***for the purpose*** of the SPR. And this report may be misreported. Whether it is fake or not is an open question but certainly it is not precise.
What is not fake is the large federal convoy witnessed in the area a day after the report of the well takeover.
Don’t you agree that BLM or some federal agency could coordinate to transport this oil to SPR? Why do you narrow your view to just the SPR? Don’t you know that federal agencies coordinate efforts? I know they do in other matters. In this matter, there is not enough information to know for sure.

Down in the comments a poster suggests water is a target, too. No doubt here. Obama and friends are shutting US down, lock, stock and barrel.
I was looking at the article on my phone and did not read the whole thing. Thanks for the response.
You know thackney, you just conferred wisdom and knowledge on a speculation of a speculation.
Color me skeptical about your judgement and contribution.
You appear to have ‘some’ good knowledge about the oil and gas industry. So do many others.
You appear to have some experience inside the federal government. So do I.
But I think you are positioned down low in the bushes unable to see beyond the forests around you.
But what wisdom and knowledge do you confer on the witness of a large militarized federal convoy with gunships leanding and tailing and helicopters circling overhead? Or is that also nonsense? Are you calling me and my business partner liars?
Conferring wisdom and knowledge on a speculator of speculation, what a crock!
I would. Extremely surprised.
On another note they dug 22,000 feet deep?
If they did, they went completely below the Bakken or Three Forks formation. About twice as deep.
And all six wells, drilled on the same pad, hit the same day. Not like all the other multiple well pads that one rig drills each one, one at a time.
It was done by John Ross Ewing
Yes, please do.
BLM with mineral rights?
Nope, not even close.
If you post a thread and ask for comments, don’t attack those who come in and make well-informed observations if you want this thread to stay up.
We have two well pads in ND (Souris). They were drilled ten years ago. We are still waiting.
The quarter section next to ours had oil 25 years ago, but dried up after about seven years.
You brought it up, including claims they do news blackouts. I am only responding to your posts.
Your posting is looking like you want to make fools of other Freepers.
I do not pretend this is about me.
On a sphere the size of the earth if you drill down 22,000 feet, how much surface area are you directly below? In other words the exact center of the earth would be directly below all surface area.
Drilled a couple miles beneath the sedimentary basin containing the Bakken and Three Fork producing zones?
I doubt it.
Ok fair enough. But I would like to reserve the right to challenge comments designed to discredit the thread. But in this case I will refrain.
Beautiful place... I keep thinking it's either the wilds of Alaska, Canada, or some deserted isle in the Pacific if things keep getting worse here in the lower 56... ;)
